
BOND 2022 OVERVIEW
In May 2022, Northside ISD voters approved a $992 million bond proposal for major improvements and renovations to NISD schools as well as the construction of a new elementary school. Bond 2022 was approved with no tax rate increase.
Projects from Bond 2022 include renovations of libraries and cafeterias at current schools, replacement of some older campuses, necessary upgrades to infrastructure systems, create and renovate spaces for additional magnet schools for both middle and high school students, and accommodate the addition of more students with new classrooms and the new M’lissa M. Chumbley Elementary School.
